# Grimicorn — Color Palette Reference

> Use this document as the single source of truth when porting the Grimicorn theme to any new tool or service.

## Core Philosophy

- Dark variant uses a **muted blue-gray base** with soft pastel syntax colors — nothing is saturated enough to cause eye fatigue.
- Light variant desaturates everything toward darker ink-on-paper tones; the same hue roles apply but the values are shifted darker.
- Accent hierarchy: **Blue → Purple → Teal** (primary → secondary → tertiary interactions).
- Semantic colors are consistent: Green = success/strings, Teal = info/constants, Yellow = types/warnings, Salmon = errors, Gray = muted/comments.
