This is a personal site. This page is a plain description of what it does with your data, not a legal document.
Google Analytics
If you allow it, this site loads Google Analytics (from Google's servers) to count visits. Google Analytics typically collects things like the pages you view, your approximate location, your browser and device type, how you arrived at the site, and an identifier stored in a cookie so repeat visits can be recognized. The site also sends a few events, such as newsletter signups. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Your choice
- Analytics stays off until you click Allow on the banner. Nothing from Google is loaded before that.
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the site never loads analytics and does not ask.
- Your choice is saved in this browser's local storage. Clearing site data resets it.
- If the "analytics" button in the footer or the button below is shown, use it to withdraw consent and choose Decline. This stops further reporting and removes the Google Analytics cookies.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, the email address you enter is sent to Kit (app.kit.com), the service that sends it. Nothing is sent unless you submit the form.
Everything else
Fonts and images are served from this site, not a third party. The site has no ads and no accounts. Individual blog posts may link to or embed outside content, which is governed by those sites' own policies.
